Designed for HIPPY staff to gain more knowledge about the HIPPY model, curriculum and the essence of HIPPY, this is a required training for new coordinators, assistant coordinators and supervisors looking to fulfill Accreditation Standard 7.
Created to close the achievement gap and support family engagement, HIPPY has been enriching lives since it was developed in Israel in 1969. Since its implementation in the United States more than 25 years ago, HIPPY has been creating a remarkable legacy of educating children, empowering families and enriching communities. This is evidenced by the many alumni – HIPPY children and parents – who, because of our program, have success stories to share!
Join us in locating as many alumni as possible and encourage them to share their stories.
As a HIPPY Alumni, you receive our newsletter and additional HIPPY communications highlighting the phenomenal impact of your peers and colleagues across the United States. Look for photos and updates each month!
Erika is a HIPPY graduate and credits her experiences with HIPPY for inspiring her to pursue a career as an education and assistant school principal. Erika leads a school for young learners in a poverty stricken rural community. She credits HIPPY with not only her educational success, but her passion for educating vulnerable children. “I truly feel that the HIPPY program was the fundamental building block of my educational experience."
