Tamara Kayser and her daughter Taylor evoke the spirit of HIPPY USA! Ms. Kayser served as a home visitor through Texas HIPPYCorps that led her to her current vocation. Inspired by her mom, Taylor highlights her future plans in this heartwarming video provided by Carol Tobias of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) - Greater Dallas Section
HIPPYCorps is a partnership among HIPPY sites across the country and the Corporation for National and Community Service's Americorps program. Service members are trained as HIPPY home visitors where they engage and teach parents the HIPPY model in preparing their young learners for school. NCJW is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms. NCJW has supported and championed HIPPY since its inception in the 1960s.
